Minimum qualification required: Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or closely related field; or hold the Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science (Mechanical stream) from Flinders University or have completed a minimum of 1 year full-time equivalent in the Master of Engineering Science (Mechanical) from Flinders University or equivalent qualification. A knowledge of mathematics (equivalent to second year university mathematics including Fourier and Laplace Transforms) and a knowledge of Materials and Dynamics is assumed. Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 55% for Section 1, 60% for Section 2, and 65% for Section 3 universities. .
