Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, formerly known as Agra University, is a state university located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1927, it is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the state. The university was renamed in 1996 in honor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a key architect of the Indian Constitution. The university is spread across four residential campuses: Paliwal Park, Khandari, Chhalesar, and Kuberpur, catering to a vast number of students through its residential wings and a large network of affiliated colleges.\n\nThe university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines, including Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Management, and Medicine. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
