Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, formerly known as Agra University, is a state university located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1927, it is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the state. The university was renamed in 1996 in honor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a key architect of the Indian Constitution.
